Hi my love, today we have our first strength Pilates class of the challenge!
It’s focused on thighs and abs (such a good combo), while still strengthening your entire body from head to toe.
Our standing series builds strength in the larger muscle groups using dynamic, compound movements, and the matwork is designed to lengthen, sculpt, and leave you feeling that deep, satisfying burn.
For ALIGN week, we’re starting with lighter weights. If you’ve been training with me for a while, you’re welcome to use 5 lb hand weights and 2 lb ankle weights.
The goal is to feel challenged, while still moving with control and maintaining perfect form.
EQUIPMENT: 1 lb ankle weights & 3 lb handweights
