Today's class comes from Day 3 of the Align Method program. This class style is one of our most popular in the app. You feel stronger, more confident and connected to your body after these workouts.
Our strength workouts start to incorporate heavier weights to help you build lean muscle and define your body. We target the larger muscles with our standing series and more traditional strength training moves, then take it to the mat for a Pilates burn out.
Our strength workouts are different to traditional strength workouts in that we still maintain the Pilates principles of breath, alignment and mind body connection. The result is a workout that both lengthens and strengthens your entire body.
We achieve progressive overload to build muscle, not just by adding heavier weights, but increasing reps, increasing time under tension, reducing rest periods, adding in new resistance equipment and always changing up our workouts to continue challenging and strengthening your body in new ways.
Results: Stronger arms, lifted glutes, sculpted abs, and a long, lean silhouette — strength without bulk, elegance without intensity.
