OCT 12 - *NEW* FULL BODY SCULPT (LIGHT WEIGHTS RECOMMENDED)
OCTOBER PILATES CHALLENGE
•
40m
This 40-minute Full Body Sculpt is the perfect mix of elevated energy, Pilates-inspired sculpting and feel-good movement. You’ll get around 33 minutes of work, followed by a beautiful lengthening stretch and a short rebalancing meditation to finish.
We’re using light 3 lb hand weights and 1 lb ankle weights as we transition between standing and mat sections in our signature Sculpt style, targeting the arms, abs, glutes and thighs while keeping the movement controlled, intentional and connected.
The energy is elevated enough to make you break a sweat, but never so intense that you feel depleted. The goal is to leave you feeling strong, sculpted, lengthened and energized.
And if you’re a Mat Pilates lover, you’re going to adore the second half of this class. We move into a sculpting mat sequence that brings that deep Pilates burn while still keeping everything flowing and feel-good.
If you’re following the Strength Program, you can absolutely opt for slightly heavier weights for a little more resistance. Just don’t go too heavy. This class is designed to be more about sculpting, control and endurance than heavier muscle-building work.
EQUIPMENT:
• 3 lb hand weights
• 1 lb ankle weights
Weights are optional, so feel free to go lighter or complete the class with bodyweight only.
