Make sure to use a STURDY chair or counter top and to avoid putting your weight on it, you should be able to do all the exercises without the chair/barre it is just for light support. If you feel your low back, make sure to keep your core engaged by pulling abs in and lightly tucking tailbone, rib to hip connection, also slow down exercises and keep soft bend in support led. You can also take exercises to the mat to modify and make it work for you.
